Willkommen in Deutschland! Der Kino-Film „Happy Welcome“ dokumentiert die Tour von vier „Clowns ohne Grenzen“ durch acht deutsche Asylbewerberheime. Er lotet die „Willkommenskultur“ aus und inspiriert gleichzeitig die Zuschauer. Der Dreh war im Mai und Juni 2015, Kinostart am 19. November 2015.

Der Kinofilm HAPPY WELCOME von Walter Steffen begleitet von Mai bis Juni 2015 vier „Clowns ohne Grenzen“ bei ihrer Willkommens-Tour durch Deutschland zu acht Aufnahmeeinrichtungen für Flüchtlinge. Die Intention: Im eigenen Land unsichtbare Grenzen zu überschreiten und abzubauen. Während ihrer Auftritte sagen die Clowns auf ihre besondere Art den Menschen, die hier oftmals nach Jahren der Flucht auf Asyl und auf eine Zukunft hoffen: Welcome to Germany! Die „Clowns ohne Grenzen“, die im Rahmen des startsocial-Wettbewerbs am 17. Juni 2015 im Bundeskanzleramt auftreten, geben Menschen in Krisensituationen mit ihren kostenlosen Shows wieder Lebensmut.
Der durch Crowdfunding unterstützte Film HAPPY WELCOME feierte seine Uraufführung am 7. August 2015 auf dem 9. Fünf Seen Filmfestival und startete am 19. November 2015 bundesweit in den Kinos.
